Pack Xerxes.
Holler.
We have had a busy year and have lots of exciting things coming at us out the mist. The most exciting is our new CD which we have just recorded with the handsome Rob Whitely at Whitewood studios in Liverpool.
The new EP, which will be called 'Pack Xerxes', is all done and ready to go out to the printers after Christmas. We'll be arranging a launch party in late Jan/early Feb and getting together a UK tour shortly afterwards.
We also have the next 10 Bands 10 Minutes on the 14th of Jan. Have a look at this link for more information.
Thanks to everyone who has made it to a show, bought a CD, said hello at a gig and read the ramblings on our site.
Happy New Year and see you all very soon.
Married to the sea.
Farewell Ludwig.
We are heading over to St. Brides church in Liverpool to play a sort of half acoustic set this Friday (Nov 4th) at the cracking Family Folk up night. Its £5 on the door and its BYOB.
In other news, our monthly night, 10 Bands 10 Minutes, is back in Jan with a Neil Young flava - watch this space for details. Finally, we said a sad farewell to our red post van Ludwig this week. He has taken us across Europe (just), all over the UK a few times and has been a total pleasure to drive.
Thanks Ludwig.
The Bluetones are dead, long live The Bluetones...

Last week we had the pleasure of playing at the Shepherds Bush Empire supporting The Bluetones on their final UK gig.
It was a bittersweet night, performing at an amazing venue whilst seeing those lovely chaps doing their final gig. Thanks to them, we have played countless rad venues all over the country as well as meeting a host of very awesome people on the way.
They have taught us how to be real men. Thanks guys.
There will be a few photos on our blog for you to have a look at, so click here if you want to peruse at them. In other news, we are putting the final touches to our new EP and we will have more information v.soon.
Shepherds Bush Empire...
Sunday, September 18th, 2011
We have been busy in the last few weeks, laying down tracks for what will become our new EP. Although we don't have a title yet, there have been some interesting suggestions... Whilst the songs are getting mixed, Sam has the pleasure of being out on the road doing merch for The Bluetones for their farewell tour.
Click here to see some pictures of what he's been up to and where he's been.
In related news, we have been asked to play alongside The Bluetones at the Shepherds Bush Empire on what will be their final ever UK show. Its a real honour to be playing with them and hope that our set, which consists of all their singles, won't spoil the party too much.
Over and out.
